Lineage II will be growing with a big new content expansion set to be released on June 29th. Called Helios, players will find a new zone, new raid bosses, a new faction and new skills.

To start things off, special server settings have been put in place that include no experience loss on death, free teleports and a vitality bonus increase.

The Lineage 2 team has unveiled the details behind a trio of servers that will be merging into a single unitl. Shilen, Magmeld and Bartz will be merging into a new server called Freya. Citing that the build as it is will not be ready for the originally planned December 15th launch, the team said it would utilize the extra time to work on numerous translation and technical issues.

The Lineage 2 team has announed that the next major update to the game, called the Underground, will be released on the October 14th. As the name implies, players will be traveling to the Gainak Underground and can enter three new instances, based on the legends of Freya, Tauti and Kelbim.
NCSoft has announced that the latest Lineage II expansion, Infinite Odyssey, has gone live. Infinite Odyssey brings new lore and exploration opportunities to players along with the removal of the level cap.
Just in time for its eleventh anniversary, the Lineage II team has announced that the next expansion, Infinite Odyssey, will officially launch on April 22nd. Infinite Odyssey continues the story of Leona Blackbird and her army with new quests, zones, skills and more. In addition, the level cap is being removed completely.
