Life is Feudal: MMO has relaunched under a new owner, Long Tale Games. Launching as a "hardcore" subscription game, the company plans to continue expanding on the IP.

Life is Feudal shut down yesterday. The indie MMO had planned to shutdown back in December, and the team went through the process of sending refunds and saying goodbye to this version of LiF.

In a blog post today, Life is Feudal MMO has announced it will go free to play (F2P), along with a host of patch notes.

Getting started in Life is Feudal can be a daunting experience. To help out new players as they take their first steps in Abella, the team has created a great new video called "A Newcomer's Guide".

The Life is Feudal team has sent out a brand new "how-to" video to give players a virtual hand with gaining more influence in the game. The Life Has Feudal the MMO team has a nifty new video for those who like to get down and dirty in their gaming. Called The Farmer's Guide to LiF:tMMO, the video introduces the importance of agriculture in the game along with instructions how to get started, how to make tools, terraforming and much more.

Life is Feudal has arrived on Steam where it is considered in Early Access. The Steam version is the same client / build as the Open Beta. Players will be able to take part in all of the previously released content including GvG, building alliances and kingdoms, building homes / keeps and fortresses.

We have just received word that the open beta for Life is Feudal: MMO Steam version is delayed. Open beta was to have started on November 17th, but will need to be delayed until the anticipated launch on December 1st due to "last minute technical issues".

The Life is Feudal team has released a brand new trailer for the MMO portion of the game. It includes a number of stunning locations throughout the game as well as providing insight into the scope of the game for players as they move from primitive knowledge to complex.
