Thanks to a vocal and supportive community, Shards Online has been successfully Greenlit on Steam. Project Lead Derek Brinkmann posted a brief note on the game's official site to thank the community for their support. According to the post, Shards will benefit from the Steam platform and be exposed to millions of potential players.
I want to extend a thank you to each and every one of you who voted and helped us spread the word about the campaign. It was so rewarding for us as a team to come in every day to so many new positive comments on the greenlight page.
Things might get a little quiet for a while as we batten down the hatches and push to get the game to Alpha. Thanks again for all your support! See you in Aria.
