From February 15th to February 17th, Legends of Aria players are invited to take part in a scavenger hunt called Relic of the Ancients. During the event, players will be tasked with deciphering clues to discover constantly changing "hot spots" throughout the game world. Hotspot locations will change about every hour. Finding a hotspot and killing monsters in the area will yield both regular loot and Relic Fragments that can be traded for "super secret exclusive items".

Legends of Aria has been updated to bring the Dungeon Expansion to live servers. "Wilderness dungeons finally got the love that they deserve," it says in the announcement blog. In addition, PvEers will have a new tool "that will help them avoid unscrupulous ganks". It's a spell called Ward Evil that is only visible to the caster. When an "outcast enemy" enters the circumference, the caster is notified. The goal is to encourage players to venture outside 'safe zones" to explore the new dungeons.

The Legends of Aria site has been updated with the news that a series of patches will be put into place over the course of the next several weeks. Once complete, and with a more optimized client, things will be in place to launch a major content update called Frozen Tundra. Along with Frozen Tundra, the game will be ready for launch into Steam Early Access. The current target window for this is "early Spring" according to the latest developer diary.

The first Legends of Aria developer update has been published and, while brief, it does offer a bit of information about upcoming additions to the game as well as an explanation for the release date change for Steam Early Access. At the moment, the release date sits at January 18th. However, this may change. The letter states, "We only did this because the date was looming & we have not settled on a final date for the 'real' Steam Store launch" but that more info will be forthcoming.
