The Legends of Aria site has been updated with the news that a series of patches will be put into place over the course of the next several weeks. Once complete, and with a more optimized client, things will be in place to launch a major content update called Frozen Tundra. Along with Frozen Tundra, the game will be ready for launch into Steam Early Access. The current target window for this is "early Spring" according to the latest developer diary.
The decision to launch on the Steam store with our next major content update has several benefits. The main driving factor was the need to further optimize the client to improve frame rates and stuttering. In addition, the Frozen Tundra update will release new lands, professions and dungeons which will help fuel the excitement of the Steam store launch.
Between now and then, a small update will be deployed that features "bug fixes and quality of life changes" as well as updates to crafting and taming. A second larger update on January 30th will feature the Dungeon Expansion.
