Nintendo's strong E3 2021 showing ended with a resounding bang for those looking for Legend of Zelda news from the Japanese gaming giant. However, the final trumpet call was some more glimpses at the upcoming sequel to Breath of the Wild, which is slated to release in 2022.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild fans can check out new information about the game's just-announced expansion pass. Rather than a single purchase up front, players will be able to buy expansion content over the course of 2017. For $20 will net the Cave of Trials challenge, hard mode and a new map feature.
GameInformer.com has a big new screenshot gallery that shows off the big wide world of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The screens cover a wide variety of locations including grasslands, snowy environs, forests and a murky undead-filled location. One of the screens even shows Link riding a horse. How's that for cool?
