Riot Games has announced that tickets for both the League of Legends playoff matches and the final championship matches will go on sale beginning Saturday, August 24th. The matches will be happening at Riot's broadcast studios Sept. 15 - 24, the Galen Center at USC on Sept. 27 and 28 and the World Championship final at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday October 4, 2013.
Here¹s the breakdown on ticket pricing for each stage of the competition.
- Group Stage - Culver Sound Studios, September 15-21: $20 per day
- Quarterfinals - Culver Sound Studios, September 23-24: $30 per day
- Semifinals - Galen Center, September 27-28: $30-60 per day
- Finals - Staples Center, October 4: $40-100
The World Championship consists of 14 teams from North America, Europe, Korea, Southeast Asia and China, with a qualifying International Wildcard. The Championship tournament takes place over three weeks from September 15 to October 4. Individual tickets are available for all Championship game days and every match is played in front of a live audience. The semifinals move to the Galen Center and then the final best of five match plays out at the Staples Center on Friday, October 4.
The top two teams will battle for the Summoner¹s Cup, along with a share of the $2 million prize pool that rounds out the Season 3 total of more than $8 million across the globe, at the Staples Center during the World Championship event on October 4.
