The Innova team has participated in a very brief Q&A with the Russian Kingdom Under Fire II community. A few nuggets of information came out of the session including the news that a closed beta is likely happening in 2017 once adequate translation has been achieved, a big feat considering the massive number of words the game utilizes.
Other snippets of interesting info include:
- there will be a test before CBT - whether full scale alpha or a focus group remains unknown
- the game will be F2P
- 250,000 symbols / words have been translated out of the 1.5M it has currently. NPC names, location names, item descriptions and UI were the initial focus of translation
- work with guilds will begin in closed beta
- the focus on the PC version right now
- the in-game store will be added at release
