MMORTS Kingdom Under Fire 2 is shutting down in October, according to a new Steam announcement by Gameforge. The announcement states that the title, which released less than two years ago here in the West, would be shuttering on October 26th.

Unfortunately, for me, the gender locked classes are a pretty big deal, and having issues with finding groups to do things can be frustrating. One problem is currently it’s easy to knock out the dailies, which is nice because we aren’t endlessly grinding our faces on, but once people get their dailies done, the server can feel a bit like a ghost town. They do have a December patch planned and new content is on the way, so hopefully, they’ll be able to reach a good state of equilibrium.

In a new press release, Gameforge announced that Kingdom Under Fire 2 will release in November.
Gameforge has announced that it has acquired the publication rights in NA and EU for Kingdom Under Fire 2. According to the press release, KUF2 will be available later in 2019 for PC. KUF2 is the latest in the long-running series with it originally being announced in 2008. KUF2 is considered a hybrid MMORPG and real-time strategy with three distinct factions. Players can level individual characters or "command massive armies as war strategists".
Innova, the team behind the Russian version of Kingdom Under Fire II has posted a new article and video detailing the progress being made with regard to PvE quests and raids. KUFII will include daily quests, and story missions for 8-16 players.
