In your opinion, what makes Myth War II stand apart from all the other free to play games on the market today? |
Jadefox Hu
|
Myth War II (http://mw2.igg.com) is a free 2D online game. Its classic feel makes it comfortable and relaxing for experienced players who have grown up with similar styles. One of the highlights of this game is its unique ATB combat system. The ATB combat system means players should be familiar with turn-based strategy combat while also giving players the sense of tension that they expect from modern games. The distinct “Rumor” system will keep players guessing. |

Will there be PVP in Myth War II? |
Jadefox Hu
|
Myth War II (http://mw2.igg.com) has a sound PVP system. There are two types of PVP available in the new version, Player vs. Player and Party PVP. The PVP system also allows players to force others into PVP, in so doing the player who is killed can get revenge or have a brother or spouse take it for them. However, we wanted to balance the need for a realistic setting with revenge and feuds with the need to keep bloodthirsty players from having too much fun, so we’ve also added the “Evil Index”. Players can have different Evil Index levels and titles to match how evil they are. Players who PVP too much can even be imprisoned. The prison system and prison break system were also subsequently developed to deal with this. There is also a duel system in the game to allow players to have friendly private matches. |

Will players be forced to gain reputation with NPC factions? |
Jadefox Hu
|
When players are doing certain quests, they need to use their reputation. Reputation is obtained by how long a player spends online, more time online means more reputation. Joining guilds to complete guild quests can win players a lot of reputation. At the same time, players can use an item called the “Portrait” to increase their reputation as well. |

How well do think the casual gamer will fare in Myth War II? |
Jadefox Hu
|
There are 8 characters from different classes in Myth War II (http://mw2.igg.com). The Hero has a super high survival capability and is physically strong. The Heroine is agile and knows how to move stealthily. Archers are good at using long range weapons. Rangers know the art of healing and can increase their teammate’s skill levels. Sorcerers master the spells of Wind, Thunder, Water and Fire. Sorceresses can curse enemy targets to limit their fighting status. Male Borgs move slowly but are physically strong and highly dangerous. Female Borgs are also physically strong but have an added immunity to magic. Each of the classes have benefits and weaknesses, it is up to each player to decide who fits their style of play and plan of action. Cooperation between classes to support weakness and enhance strengths also ensures a fun and diverse party atmosphere. |

Can you describe the rebirth system a little more in depth? |
Jadefox Hu
|
The Rebirth System offers players who have reached the upper level limit a chance to challenge themselves further. Players can sacrifice their life and start over back at level 1 again, but with some added bonuses. These bonuses give players some extra attribute points and enhance players’ attributes and resistances. New character shapes are also available after rebirth. In addition, those players who accept the rebirth system are different from other players because of their characters name color. The rebirth system has an effect on player’s level, attributes, resistances, growth, equipment, quests and title. At present, the second rebirth is also available in the game. |

What was the inspiration behind some of the “relationship systems” in Myth War II such as the Marriage and Brothers systems? |
Jadefox Hu
|
We wanted to represent the aspects of real life that are most common in game. Players can make friends with others while playing the game, and through questing and countless battles, players have the opportunity to become very close with some of these people. The relationship system offers players a chance to experience a different kind of virtual life and share these close bonds with their friends. |

As seen in your highlights section, please describe “The captivating Magic Box system” |
Jadefox Hu
|
Each Magic Box contains a Lucky Spirit and an Unlucky Spirit. After opening the box, players will randomly summon a Spirit. The Lucky Spirit brings good luck to players while the Unlucky Spirit brings bad luck. This new system should be very exciting, but its development is still underway. |
