SEOUL – July 26, 2006 – Global online entertainment company WEBZEN Inc. (NASDAQ: WZEN) announced today that it will showcase an unprecedented line-up of exciting massively multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPG) at ChinaJoy, China’s largest entertainment software show, July 28-30, 2006. Headlining the show for WEBZEN is the epic fantasy MMORPG Kingdom of Warriors, which is being produced specifically for the exploding Chinese online gaming market.

Based on the classic Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Kingdom of Warriors is being developed by WEBZEN’s subsidiary, WEBZEN China, Co. Testifying to the public’s overwhelming enthusiasm for WEBZEN’s titles, Kingdom of Warriors has consistently been ranked in the top five most anticipated games in the market, as compiled by China’s respected website 17173.com (www.17173.com).

WEBZEN will showcase Kingdom of Warriors along side its other dynamic online games, including the much-anticipated massively multiplayer online first-person shooter Huxley and Project Wiki, a casual fairy tale based MMORPG with intense levels of cooperative interaction.

In addition to WEBZEN’s unmatched diverse product showcase, Nam Ju Kim, CEO, WEBZEN Inc., is scheduled to give a special presentation at the convention on July 27, 2006. His presentation to attendees, which will include many of the world’s most respected game industry icons and veterans and high-level Chinese government officials, will cover successful global strategies for video game companies.

“I’m thrilled that our online games, including Kingdom of Warriors, have received such a great response from Chinese gamers and the local press,” said Nam Ju Kim. “WEBZEN plans on stepping up its brand awareness in China through this year’s ChinaJoy, and solidifying its image as a global brand in the local market.”

WEBZEN invites gamers and other show visitors to stop by the publisher’s booth to play Kingdom of Warriors. In addition, the company will host various other events in the booth, including games and prize giveaways. WEBZEN’s booth is located in the center’s main exhibition area, Hall 1, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).
