PlayStation 4 Version Launches in North America, 'Soon' in Europe

Hex Entertainment has announced that the PC version of HEX: Shards of Fate is now joined by the PlayStation 4 version in North America. The European launch of the PS4 version is expected to happen soon. PlayStation 4 fans can enjoy UI upgrades, a smooth controller experience and an enhanced tutorial system.

Devs Part Ways with Gameforge to Self-Publish

A new letter has appeared on the HEX: Shards of Fate Steam page that lets players know that the dev team is parting ways with Gameforge. The game will be self-published by HEX Entertainment and all operational procedures including customer support, community management, promotion, sales, marketing and other activities will be handed over to the company by Gameforge.

Chronicles of Entrath Chapter 2 Released

The PvE component of Hex: Shards of Fate has been released that brings the new Ranger class into the game. Players also have a higher level cap to work with as well as a new nautical campaign containing unique talent trees and abilities.

New Set Adds 275 Cards & Brand New Mechanics

HEX: Shards of Fate has expanded again with the release of the Herofall card set. New cards include eighteen legendary cards and a host of new and enhanced game mechanics.

Herofall To Bring New Cards To The Table

Gameforge and Hex Entertainment have announced the first details about the next expansion to Hex: Shards of Fate. Called Herofall, additional content will include 275 new cards and the first Cosmic Crown Showdown tournament.

Fourth Card Set, Primal Dawn, Released

Gameforge has announced that the fourth card set for HEX: Shards of Fate has officially been launched. The new set brings in over three hundred cards, over a hundred new items, seven special sleeves, six new heroes, a new tournament and the "Empower" ability.

Steam Play Enabled

Gameforge and Hex Entertainment have sent word that Hex: Shards of Fate is now available on the Steam gaming platform. Players will be able to download Hex for free from the game shop and will have new achievements and trading cards available.

International Invitational Tournament Coming This Weekend

Fans of HEX: Shards of Fate will want to check out this weekend's tournament action as the $100,000 Invitational takes place on March 4th and 5th. Players from Russia, Europe and the United States will be facing off for a share of the purse with all of the action broadcast live on the HEX Twitch.tv channel.

PvE Chronicles of Entrath to Begin Deployment Tonight

The Hex: Shards of Fate team has posted a notice that patching to bring the Chronicles of Entrath PvE component online will be starting at 10:00 pm Pacific / 1:00 am Eastern. The process is expected to take approximately twelve hours, though technical issues could cause an extension to down time.

Chronicles of Entrath Expansion Launch Window Announced

The Hex: Shards of Fate team has announced that the first part of the PvE campaign expansion to the TCG, Chronicles of Entrath, will be launching the week of January 24, 2016. According to the site post, there will be many more PvE additions released over time.

Lawsuit Settled Between Wizards Of The Coast & Cryptozoic

Wizards of the Coast has announced the settlement of its 2014 lawsuit against Cryptozoic Entertainment, developers of Hex: Shards of Fate. The lawsuit stemmed from WotC's belief that Hex willfully infringed on the intellectual property behind Magic: The Gathering. The exact details of the settlement were not revealed.
