The Dark Nexus is the next Heroes of the Storm content drop that is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, May 1st. This begins fulfilling the promise made earlier this year that more would be revealed about the lore and story behind HotS. As part of the lore, a new "cannon comic" called "Rise of the Raven Lord" has been released that provides background on why he has begun summoning forces from the Dark Nexus to help defeat what he perceives as a dark future in the Nexus.
The Heroes of the Storm universe is expanding in a big way this year, and we’re excited to give you a taste of what’s to come! Join Game Director Alan Dabiri and Creative Content Lead Kevin Johnson as they dive deeper into the particulars of the Nexus. Get ready to learn about Realm Lords, quests for power, and a “universe of universes.”
During the Dark Nexus content drop, Alarak and Gul'Dan will receive new skins.
