The Heroes of the Storm site has been updated with some new ways for players to unlock loot chests just by watching Twitch streams. From now through July 12th, fans can check in on Twitch streams to earn Heroic or Rare chests. In addition, players can unlock Alterac portraits and even receive free chests from eligible streamers during the giveaway period from June 14-July 12.
The Heroes of the Storm team has just revealed a new hero and map coming to the game. Yrel, once one of the major characters in the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion, will be heading into the Nexus as will the Echoes of Alterac map.

Heroes of the Storm has been updated to bring both Fenix, the new playable Hero, and the Starcraft 20th anniversary items into the game. Fenix has been a mainstay in the Starcraft series as one of the greatest heroes of the Protoss. In addition, players will score some new Starcraft-themed portraits. Lastly a number of UI improvements and battleground adjustments have been added alongside tweaks to Varian, Li Li, and Tracer.
