A new blog post has appeared on the Hearthstone site that reveals the details about the July 2018 Ranked Play Season that features a reference to World of Warcraft's next expansion, Battle for Azeroth. Players who win just five games in any Rank in Standard or Wild Ranked Play Modes will earn the Lightforged card back. The Lightforged are one of the new Allied Races that have arrived as part of Battle for Azeroth.
You earn Ranked Play reward chests based on your highest earned rank over the course of a Ranked Play season. Reward chests may contain seasonal card backs, Arcane Dust, and golden cards, and can be obtained by playing in either Standard or Wild Ranked Play modes. You’ll be awarded one chest per Ranked Play season based on your highest rank between the two modes.
The more ranked matches a player wins this month, the higher they will enter into ranked play in August with the new season. When a new season begins, players start four ranks under the highest rank they achieved in the previous season.
