Blizzard posted a simple postcard image on its HearthStone Twitter account yesterday that simply says "Greetings from Gadgetzan". Gadgetzan is a neutral Goblin city in the Tanaris location in World of Warcraft and may very well be the setting of the next HearthStone expansion. We'll keep you posted as the story develops!
In many ways, the new Hearthstone Heroic Brawl is much like the regular Arena. It begins with a deck constructed out of a player's cards and then locked in to try to accumulate as many wins as possible during the run. Rewards will scale based on how many wins are achieved if or until a player has lost three times. The entrance fee for Heroic Brawl is $10 or 1,000 in-game gold but the rewards earned are much better.
Blizzard will be broadcasting the Hearthstone EU Summer Championships this coming weekend, September 24-25, 2016. Players will be battling it out for a spot at Blizzcon this year and a share of the $100,000 prize pool.
The Good Gaming folks have announced that the next Hearthstone tournament will be held on the European server on September 17-18, 2016. Players will be vying for a $1,500 prize pool. Interested participants can head to Good-Gaming.com site to learn more.
Good Gaming is sponsoring a Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft tournament on August 27th that can see players taking home a portion of the $1,500 prize pool. The event will take place on August 27th and there is no fee to enter.
The latest Hearthstone expansion, One Night in Karazhan, has opened its second wing, The Opera. Players can get in to discover the mystery of the missing host and to assist Barnes in bringing down the house with the Opera performers.

Blizzard has finally taken the wraps of the next Hearthstone expansion. Called One Night in Karazhan, the expansion will feature four wings as in previous expansions. Legendary cards will also make their appearance as will nine new class challenges. In addition a new spellbound game board will make its debut.

Yesterday, Blizzard released Whispers of the Old Gods, the latest full expansion to Hearthstone, and at least on the surface level it appears to be the craziest expansion the game’s seen yet. Blizzard has released some pretty astonishing numbers for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. According to the press release, Hearthstone's playerbase increased by ten million players in the past quarter and now has surpassed fifty million registered accounts.
Hearthstone players will be able to score about $15 worth of free card packs (1,300 in-game gold) during the first week after Whispers of the Old Gods launches simply by logging into the game and then playing nine games in the new "standard" mode. The announcement was made during this week's live stream event and posted to Reddit by AdamNW.
Blizzard devs have announced a series of changes to several cards in both basic and classic decks. The basic philosophy is that new cards should have an impact on Standard cards and enrich Wild in order for Hearthstone to stay as fun as it is for players.
Blizzard has announced that the next Hearthstone expansion, Whispers of the Old Gods, will be arriving for all platforms on April 26th in North America and Europe and Asia on April 27th. Whispers brings 134 new cards into the game that are "totally not corrupted".
Hearthstone players with iOS access can purchase a special card featuring Azeroth's most powerful mage, Khadgar. 100% of the $4.99 purchase price will be sent to the World Wildlife Fund as part of "Apps for Earth", a project in celebration of Earth Day. Though only available for iOS devices, once added to a player's collection, Khadgar can be played on any platform and device.
