Victrix, who makes some of the best headsets and controllers on the market right now, announced that their highly popular Pro BFG controller will be making the jump to Xbox in February next year.

Victrix's Pro BFG controller had only been available in a PlayStation 5 version, but the company announced today the Xbox version is finally on its way. The Pro BFG is Victrix's entry in the high-end custom controller market, with features such as its Multi-Position Clutch Triggers which allow users to set their triggers to one of five different stopping points for hair triggers or a more standard pull.

Additionally, the Pro BFG comes with mappable back buttons, much like we see in the Xbox Elite controllers from Microsoft, and built-in Dolby Atmos powers the 3.5mm headphone jack on the controller itself. What really makes the Pro BFG stand out is the modularity. Victrix effectively allows you to swap the offset thumbstick into an inline configuration, or even replace the right stick altogether for a fight pad for fighting game fans.

The controller is one of the best I've ever used, so I'm glad to see it make the jump to Xbox. The upcoming Pro BFG is compatible on PC, Xbox, mobile iOS and Android devices and more thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity. The Pro BFG is also compatible with the Victrix Control Hub Xbox App, which allows users to configure their BFG's buttons, Dolby Atmos EQ settings and more at the touch of a button.

You can pre-order the Victrix Pro BFG Xbox controller for $179.99 in January at the official Victrix website, and will be available in Black and White color options. Victrix also announced that those who want Hall Effect sticks, Hall Effect Stick Modules will be for sale separate for both the Xbox and PlayStation versions of the Pro BFG sometime in 2024. For those who will be at Dreamhack Atlanta, you can go hands-on with the Xbox version of the controller during the event.
