Guild Wars 2 players are being invited to a special event to be held in game to support the LGBT community. Called Pride March Tyria, the event will take place on Sunday, June 26th at 5:00 pm Pacific / 8:00 pm Eastern. The march will begin in Ebonhawk and end in Rata Sum.
As real life comes first we’ll understand if players will only be stopping by for a short section of the approximately two and a half hour tour. Also for those for whom the above-mentioned time is inconvenient, we’ll be glad for those who want to volunteer to lead other groups whenever is most convenient for them as we want this message of support to reach as many as possible regardless of personal time constraints.
Guild Wars 2 players are known for their social activism with the ongoing success of annual Pink Day celebrations in support of breast cancer victims and survivors. (see image below)
