A new update just popped up on the Official Guild Wars 2 blog, with news about the upcoming beta tests from February through April, leading into the game's release this year.

Last year, thousands of you joined us at shows and events all over the world to try Guild Wars 2 for yourself. This year, you’ll finally be able to immerse yourself in the vast, diverse world of Tyria.
ArenaNet's Mike O'Brien goes on to talk about the upcoming select Press Betas in February (yay!) and large scale tests in March and April, all culminating in the eventual release later this year.
