The Arena.Net blog for Guild Wars 2 has been updated with a series of questions and answers about the Extended Experience applications currently in development. Tech Director Rick Ellis fields the questions that cover a range of topics including: No GW2 for Mac at this time; web features for implementation; and whether or not observer mode will make the cut in GW2.
Q: Will all the features on the mobile apps also be available on the web? I’m concerned that, because I don’t have a smartphone or iPad I’ll be locked out of the Extended Experience or miss out on cool features.
Rick: Not to worry, we’ll provide the same functionality on the web, so non-smart phone owners will be able to access all the Extended Experience features. Sure, they may not be able to access the Extended Experience on the bus ride home, but we’re definitely not going to neglect web users.
