The Guild Wars 2 World Championship has been detailed along with the most important fact that there is a $200k prize pool with the winning team taking home a cool $100k of it in addition to the title. The top six teams in the world will be heading to the ESL Studios near Los Angeles on September 17th to compete in the single-elimination tournament to determine the ultimate victor.
This Saturday, June 25 in Burbank, CA the finals of the ongoing Guild Wars 2 ESL Pro League Season 2 will take place. The top six teams from both regions of the Pro League Season 2 have secured their entry into the qualifier for the Guild Wars 2 World Championship. There will be one online qualifier per region, with the North American event livestreamed onSaturday, August 6, and the European event being livestreamed on Sunday, August 7. The top three winners of each will face-off in the grand transatlantic Guild Wars 2 World Championship.
