Guild Wars 2

The Guild Wars 2 team's latest balance update is here, and features some changes made after the patch notes were released to the community late last month. 

For this year's Lunar New Year, Guild Wars 2 is bringing back all the festivities with some neat serpentine rewards to claim. 

Guild Wars 2 is getting its next professions balance update on February 11th, with a focus on knocking down a bit of the too-powerful survivability for support in WvW. 

Guild Wars 2 is back in the holiday spirit with this year's Wintersday event. Today's new update adds the event, along with new rewards and surprises, as well as some fixes and some news for raiders.

Godspawn, Guild Wars 2's first update for the Janthir Wilds expansion, is now live. Team with allies to find the titans, take on GW2's first raid in 5 years, and even get a new legendary spear.

ANet is previewing Godspawn's Legendary spear, Klobjarne, and its six cosmetic styles, along with new Wizard's Vault rewards for dog and cat lovers, plus more gear.

This week has seen multiple big Guild Wars 2 announcements, including the news that the team at ArenaNet was bringing the MMO's first proper raid in five years, Mount Balrior, to Godspawn's launch next week. Today the team pulled the curtain back a bit on the raid in a new preview.

Godspawn, the first update for Guild Wars 2's Janthir Wilds expansion is coming on November 19th. This update not only  continues the story, it adds a new legendary weapon, new Convergence, and GW2's first new raid in five years.
