Where’s the Rope Gun Cave in Sons of the Forest?
You’ll have to squeeze through the entrance to make it inside the cave for the rope gun in Sons of the Forest.
The rope gun cave is located towards the Western side of the Sons of the Forest map, right next to a water stream. It’s also close to the area where two streams intersect and form a lake.
Once you’ve found the cave, you’ll need to do the following to grab the rope gun:
- Squeeze through the small entrance and use the flashlight to see properly inside the cave.
- Turn right and make your way toward the slope, leading to a big open area.
- Stick to the left side here and you’ll come across a construction worker’s body. Once you turn right here, you’ll find another body with two sticky bombs.
- Grab the sticky bombs to blow up the mutant blocking the way. Make sure to move away from the area while the bomb goes off.
- Continue forward. You’ll come across another body and a red briefcase.
- Once you reach the point where the path is divided, make sure to take the left path.
- Keep heading forward until you reach another fork. Take the right this time.
- After a few seconds, you’ll come across a black briefcase, with a rope gun inside.
- Collect the rope gun and use it on the zipline in front of you to quickly escape the cave.
