4 rare items for Gerolt…
The final stage of this questline, titled “Coming into its own,” tasks adventurers with acquiring 4 particular items: Enchanted Rubber, Fast-drying Carboncoat, Divine Water, and Fast-acting Allagan Catalyst.
Despite how simple this sounds, this is perhaps the mostfrustrating portion of them all, as you’ll need to trade a number of different tokens and perhaps become social with most of the crafters on your server who do reputable business to get the needed final 4.
Let’s break it down. To acquire the final items, you’ll need the following.
For Enchanted Rubber: 20 Unidentifiable Bones and 4 Adamantite Francesca HQ
For Fast-drying Carboncoat: 20 Unidentifiable Shells and 4 Titanium Alloy Mirror HQ
For Divine Water: 20 Unidentifiable Ores and 4 Dispelling Arrow HQ
For Fast-acting Allagan Catalyst: 20 Unidentifiable Seeds and Kingcake HQ
To acquire 20 of those Unidentifiables, you’ll have to go through another process of trading.
To trade for 1 Unidentifiable Bone:
Either 680 poetics tomestones,
or 13 tokens from the Amalj’aa beast tribe vendor (level 48 quests),
or 10 Precision Gordian Bolts (One per Alexander round 1 – A1 – completion),
or 1,000 Allied Seals,
or 18 tokens from the Vanu beast tribe vendor.
To trade for 1 Unidentifiable Shell:
Either 680 poetics tomestones
or 13 tokens from Sahagin Beast tribe vendor (level 48 quests)
or 10 precision Gordian lenses (one per Alexander round 2 – A2 – completion)
or Heavensward Treasure Map acquisitions
or 18 tokens from the Vanu beast tribe vendor
To trade for 1 Unidentifiable Ore:
Either 680 Law tomestones
or 13 tokens from Kobold Beast tribe vendor (level 48 quests)
or 10 precision Gordian Spring (one per Alexander Round 3 – A3 – completion)
or Heavensward Treasure Map acquisitions
or 18 tokens from the Vanu beast tribe vendor
To trade for 1 Unidentifiable Seeds:
Either 680 law tomestones,
or 13 tokens from the Sylph Beast tribe vendor (level 48 quests)
or 10x Precision Gordian Shaft (1 per A4 kill)
or 1,000 Allied Seals
or 18 tokens from the Vanu beast tribe vendor.
You'll also need to trade with or purchase specific items from various crafters just for the Adamantite Francesca HQ, Titanium Alloy Mirror HQ, Dispelling Arrow HQ, and Kingcake HQ, of which you’ll need 4 each.
These 4 items are One-Star crafts that will need a material made from 4 specialist crafts..

- One Pterodactyl Strap (LTW) – made from 3x Pteryodactyl, 1 dark chestnut log, and 1 Dawnborne Aethersand

- One Holy Water
- One Titanium Alloy Square (ARM) - made from 1x Titanium Nugget, 5x Sphalerite, 1x Dawnborne Aethersand
Dispelling Arrow HQ (CRP)
- One Hallowed Chestnut Lumber
- One Hardsilver Nugget
- One Blessed Fletchings (WVR) - made from 1x Dawnborne Aethersand, 1x Eagle Feather, 1x Royal Mistletoe
Kingcake HQ (CUL)
- One Birch Syrup
- One Highland Flour
- One Okeanis Egg
- One Tiny Crown
- One Yak Milk
- One Moogle Miniature (GSM) - needs 1x Dawnborne Aethersand, 1x Black Soil, 5 x Cloud Cotton Boll
If you can imagine how long that took to type, you can expect the process of running around to find all the needed items to be nearly hellish.
Luckily, you have plenty of time to go about making this a daily habit. It’s not going to be pretty, but you can bet that the iLvl 210 weapon you’ll be getting is rather spiffy.
