Grounded, the miniaturized, early access action-survival title from Obsidian, has made a lot of progress since its initial release on Microsoft's Game Pass and Steam back in July. With over 1 million players and growing, Obsidian isn't content with resting on Grounded's initial success, and has since updated the game with birds, mutations, ziplines, and now players will finally get to dive into the depths of the Koi Pond.
Obsidian's Honey I Shrunk the Kids-esque survival title Grounded recently released as a preview on Xbox Game Pass and Early Access on Steam. The team at Obsidian was kind enough to answer some questions about the game as it stands today, as well as some upcoming additions fans can look forward to in this unique, stylistic take on the survival genre.
During X019 Obsidian Entertainment released information about their upcoming survival-adventure title, Grounded. We had the opportunity to sit down with the Senior Programmer, Roby Atadero, and chat a little bit about Grounded.
Announced at X019 in London, which is an annual celebratory event for Xbox fans, is the co-op survival adventure title Grounded. Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios are set to bring Grounded to early access by Spring 2020 for Xbox One digitally through Xbox Game Preview and with Xbox Game Pass. Grounded will also be available on the Microsoft Store, Steam, and will be the first Xbox Game Preview title available with Xbox Game Pass.
