BartDaCat writes: While lacking solid game matching services or multiplayer features, the forum community is considerate, helpful, and resourceful. Have questions about quests, gear, or in-game secrets? The forums will no doubt have answers to your questions. Graphics are impressive for being based on a slightly dated game engine. While initial character customization is absent the amount of detailed armor, weapons, and spell effects more than makes up for it. Although the game is played in an isometric perspective the environments are fully realized and the player is able to turn the camera in any direction thus revealing a 3-dimensional environment with a lot of attention paid to detail. The dual-class combination system opens up almost endless playstyles and skill combinations with in-depth skill trees for each class giving the player a multitude of playstyle choices. Everything from a near-indestructible armor class with melee AND/OR casting/ranged weapon abilities. I can't recommended Grim Dawn enough as a timeless ARPG that deserves a high place in the pantheon of other great titles in the genre. Sat Oct 28 2017 6:27PM

Talmagdon writes: This game brings the fun in spades. The action is fast, the combat visceral and the environment immersive. Apart form the interplay of primary and secondary class skills, you also have skills from enchanting items etc. All this not only provides an interesting interplay of skills, but also a degree of skills customisation that you don't see too often. More impressive was the degree to which the devs interacted with the community and fed us updates during early access. All in all, this game is loads of fun and much like it's spiritual predecessor (Diablo 2) it provides hours of entertainment and an infinite replayability. Probably the best executed crowd-funded game to date. Mon Mar 07 2016 2:09AM
