Console fans of Grand Theft Auto V can rest assured they can bring their adventures in Los Santos to the next gen. Announced today during Sony's Future Of Gaming PS5 Event, Rockstar revealed that GTAV will hit Sony's new console in 2021.
Those who already own GTA V on PS4 will see their accounts get the PS5 version for free. Rockstar is sweetening the deal for PS4 owners by giving away $1M in GTA Online Cash each month until it hits the PS5 in 2021. That's a lot of cash to fund your enterprises.
No exact date was given, as well was any technical information as to how PS5 will be enhanced over its previous gen versions, but it's a nice start for those looking to continue their story in San Andreas on the next hardware generation.
