Player Input Key In Balancing Combat Mechanics - Gloria Victis -

Gloria Victis was updated yesterday to apply a series of improvements to key features in the game, most notably combat and PvP in the "Valley of Death" tournament. 

The biggest change to the combat mechanics is replacing the random critical strikes with the player’s skill-based factors, such as attack power, headshots and back strike. Also, the power of the two last mentioned ones depends now on the character’s dexterity, giving the players even more influence on development of their avatars. Formulas for the basic statistics have also been also redesigned after the feedback that we received from players, leading to adjustment of the combat dynamics.
