Revival Possible Thanks to Volunteer 'Glitchen'

It appears that an all volunteer group calling themselves "Glitchen" are working with original developer Tiny Speck to see the game brought back to life under a new name, "Eleven". According to Eleven's site, the Glitchen will use the released code and additional tools presented to them by Tiny Speck.


Art & Code Assets Released to Public Domain

Tiny Speck has announced that all of the art and code assets for the now-defunct, but highly acclaimed, Glitch have been released into the public domain.


Tiny Speck Closes Game

Tiny Speck has announced that Glitch will be permanently shutting down on December 9th, with forums available through the end of 2012. According to the official post, Glitch did not attract a large enough audience to become financially viable thus leading to the closure.


Tiny Speck Unlaunching the Game

Tiny Speck has announced that it is "unlaunching" Glitch, its inaugural title. The team has plans to continue service to Glitch but will place the game back in beta phase to give developers time to work out gameplay issues and more.
