MMORPG Friday Funnies
 advertisement

For this first edition of MMORPG Friday Funnies, we have scoured Youtube for MMORPG-related clips that amused us, tickled our fancies, made us giggle, sputter, guffaw or choke. In short, we have gathered a number of links that we thought that you might enjoy.

If you, in your travels, come across a funny clip, or anything else MMO-related, please let us know at editor@mmorpg.com.

Clip #1

This clip shows the lighter side of the dark and gritty new MMORPG, Age of Conan. The moral of the story? If you see a guy with a horse on a bridge… go around.

Ya know, no matter how many times I see it, this video still makes me laugh. It could be that I’m a little bit sadistic. It could be the use of the Benny hill theme. That song makes everything funny.

Clip #2

Have you ever wanted to see a free-to-play giant take on a pay-to-play behemoth in an exciting dance-off set to an early 90’s hit that only really gets played at wedding receptions once people are drunk? Well, we have the video for you!

Not only does Guild Wars go head to head against Blizzard’s World of warcraft, but they duke it out to Hammer’s ‘Can’t Touch This’. How can you beat that?

Clip #3

If shows like The Simpsons have taught us nothing else, it’s that all of the best information isn’t available on the internet, but rather locked away inside 1950’s educational filmstrips. You can take your books and interwebs, I’ll take my information in grainy black-and-white images with a cheesy voice over thank-you-very-much.

This 50’s style filmstip educates its viewers about the dangers of the MMORPG virus and what we, as people, can do about it.
