Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Gauntlet: Slayer Edition has now officially launched for PlayStation 4. Interested players can grab hold of a copy via the PlayStation Network for $19.99.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Arrowhead Game Studios have announced the start of preorders for Gauntlet: Slayer Edition set to be released on the August 11th, players can get a copy for $19.99.

Gauntlet fans now have the opportunity to have a powerful new heroine to play with the arrival of the game's first DLC. Lilith the Necromancer can be purchased for $4.99. All players will receive The Gauntlet Colosseum for free as part of today's update.

MMORPG.com has partnered with WB Studios to give away five physical copies of the Gauntlet comic.

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that the modernized version of Gauntlet is now available on Steam as of today. Players can pick up a copy for $19.99 and can take on others with the multiplayer option both locally and online. Players choose from Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie or Elf and work through a variety of environments to find gold and hidden locations.

Citing the need to fine tune Gauntlet for multiplayer goodness, Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that its reimagined Gauntlet will be arriving on September 23rd.

Gauntlet fans will want to tune into a special live stream of the game this Thursday, June 5th. During the event, several celebrities will take part in game play that will spotlight the first ever footage shown. The star-studded event includes Wil Wheaton, Adrianne Curry, Pooch Hall, and classic arcade Gauntlet world record holder Dwayne Richard.

Next up, Gauntlet fans will be happy to hear that they'll be receiving a digital DC comic along with their pre-order of the Gauntlet reboot. Launching September 3 on Linux and Windows for $19.99, the game will come (for pre-orders) with Gauntlet: Darkness Calls from DC Entertainment. Steam pre-order also receive a special helm called Reaper's Visage and a double-headed axe called Azkog the Demon Slayer.
