Sacred 3

Sacred 3 is an hack and slash action RPG and the third game in the Sacred series. The game may be played solo or with up to three other players, each controlling one of the game's legendary heroes. A noted departure from Sacred 2, the game features new classes and story.

Sacred 3 places players in the role of rebellious legendary heroes pushed to the brink after Zane Ashen, the ruler of the Ashen Empire, strikes a deal with demons. Ashen seeks greater power and control for his already oppressive rule. The heroes must prevent Ashen from gaining an ancient artifact that once supported peace in the world.

FEATURES

  • Solo or Co-op Adventure | Play the game's four heroes solo or with three buddies. Co-op play will yield special combos and bonuses for teaming
  • Quick Action Combat | With action combat drawn from hack & slash games, prepare to face hordes of enemies and leave them in your wake.
  • Level Up, Customize, and Equip | Play your heroes your way, with customization and leveling choices and a weapon spirit system .

Nothing's Sacred Anymore

Nothing's Sacred Anymore - Sacred 3 News

With a pair of well-regarded titles already in existence, both firmly planted in the action-RPG genre, Sacred 3 had what amounted to a built in audience on which to unleash the game. Yet it does not take long playing the game to determine that Deep Silver and Keen Games have let down the series' existing audience and are unlikely to garner very many new fans either. The bottom line is that simply calling a game "Sacred" doesn't mean it that it actually is Sacred.
