Faction Leadership System Details - MMORPG.com

IGG has published details of the faction leadership system in Galaxy Online.

The Galaxy Online (http://go.igg.com) Closed Beta Test has now been successfully launched. Along with the launch of the Closed Beta, we’ve also added a faction leadership system to the game. This system enables players to elect the head of the faction who is able to appoint other players to any available posts. The head is in charge of leading and managing the faction and they certainly play an important role in the faction.

Head Election Rules:

1. Through the Head Election, players can select the head of their faction. Each term of office for the faction head is 15 days. When the term expires, the system will automatically initiate an election to elect a new faction head.

2. The head of a Faction is able to appoint other players to any available posts. Each post has different responsibilities.

3. After each election, the elected head of the Faction will be awarded a high level fleet captured from pirates (The amount of ships in the fleet increases as the gaming time increases).

4. During their term of office, the head’s yield of Science Points will increase by 100%.

5. When the other election ends, the elected leader will be awarded a fleet which is almost as strong as a Pirate fleet in the Ruins.

6. The head of the faction has all the available jurisdictions (lock galaxies, change faction bulletin, etc)

Head Election Details:

1. When the Faction leaders-- Secretary of the Interior, Secretary of Defense and Secretary of State (The system re-elects the Faction leaders automatically every 15 days) have been elected, the leadership election starts. The top 10 players on the “Strength (Faction)”, “Shootdown (Faction)” and “Faction Contribution” lists become candidates automatically.

2. The top 300 players on the “Strength (Faction)” list are able to vote.

3. The election will last 48 hours. When the election ends, the system will announce the winner and the votes they received.

Each faction needs an excellent leader to help them flourish. Do not forget to vote when you are eligible.
