Open Beta Launches! - Fung Wan Online - MMORPG.com

Be part of the intriguing world of FWO, from the famous Fung Wan Comics

22nd December 2003 - Join in the exciting pugilistic world of Fung Wan Online as it launches into Open Beta today. Distributed exclusively in the region by EdenII, Fung Wan Online is the first 3D Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) from Malaysia, developed by Phoenix Game Studios.

Since the announcement of the beta launch early in the month, Fung Wan Online has received overwhelming response from interested beta testers all over the world, from countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, USA, China, Canada, Belgium, Brazil, Germany, and Poland.

Fung Wan Online transports players into the pugilistic world of Fung Wan, made famous by comics maestro, Ma Wing Shing. The game is set in ancient China, where players are given the chance to live out fantasies in the virtual world of their favourite comic book heroes.

Interested gamers can find out information on downloading the game for the open beta at: http://fwo.edenii.com.

Fung Wan Online is endowed with an engaging storyline. Legend has it that for 20 years, the almighty Tian Xia clan reigned supreme in the pugilistic world, with the powerful Xiong Ba as its leader, aided by his mighty lieutenants Wind and Cloud. All other clans had to bow to its authority or risk facing destruction. A recent internal conflict within the Tian Xia clan left the powerhouse crippled, leading to great unrest among the other clans. With mistrust and suspicion breeding, the fate of the pugilistic world is uncertain.
