Mindsurge announced today that they will be introducing starting elements of PvP in their next phase of alpha testing. Their official statement is below:
| FreeWorld is proud to announce that we will have some starting elements of PvP added to the game at the start of next phase. The system will not be set up to support XP for player kills and will be limited to Spell Only combat at this point, but our hard core PvP fans will be happy to know they will at lest be able to kill players. The Spell Only PvP test will be limited to 1 fortress siege map and the rest of the world will be free of PvP,so for all you non PvP players don't worry. The fortress siege map will contain a fortress on each side of the map and will contain many destroyable objects between the two. For now we our keeping the design of the map and the exact content a secret. Keep in mind that this is not what PvP will be like in the final game. This is only a treat for our PvP fans.
