Mobile Version Rakes in $15M in Its First Month as iOS-Only Game -

According to Sensor Tower, Epic's Fortnite Mobile has earned $15,000,000 in its first month of release for iOS devices. Up until April 2nd, Fortnite Mobile was an invite-only game and, once lifted, revenue spiked from an average daily earning of $620,000 to $1.8M the day the invite requirement was removed.

Fortnite is in the Top 10 in 23 countries and is the leading cash earner over other big names including Candy Crush Saga, Clash of Clans and Pokemon Go, all of which are significantly below Fortnite's weekly earnings in the US.

Of course, the question on everyone’s minds isn’t how much Fortnite can earn, but how much more is it poised to make when it eventually arrives on Google Play. If its performance on the App Store to date is any indication, we can easily see the game grossing $3 million or more per day once the Android user base grows to a comparable size in relation to iOS—and that’s potentially just the beginning for what started as a surprise release and it already one of the most successful mobile game launches ever.
