The latest Limited Time Mode will launch into Fortnite on December 19th. During 14 Days of Fortnite, players will be able to take part in "new Challenges, play in new and old LTMs and unlock rewards in this seasonal event". The event will see large team modes switch up every two days, while small team modes will change daily.
Players will also find some changes to the Heavy Assault Rifle line, some improved Balloon controls and a number of bug fixes applied.
For wintery fun for Battle Royale:
- vehicles will slide on icy surfaces
- four new winter themed islands that can be selected from the player Rift on the starter island
- islands can be winterized with the Winter Village Prefabs
- holiday prop packs, new cube colors, new Nature Gallery additions, the Winter Nature Gallery is added
Save the World players will find lots of new holiday themes during Frostnite where players will be challenged to survive a long winter's night by keeping the Burner glowing to keep the monsters at bay.
