Prolific gamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has announced he's leaving Twitch for Microsoft's Mixer streaming platform.

Massively popular Battle Royale, Fortnite, is set to host another in-game event this weekend, if the various in-game countdown timers are to be believed.

It appears that one cultural phenomenon can get pumped up by another cultural phenomenon. Fortnite's Mega Mall location is apparently rife with "upside down portals" inspired by the Netflix series, Stranger Things. Stranger Things Season 3 is set to debut tomorrow. Mega Mall is also the home of Scoops Ahoy, an ice cream stand that is also present in Stranger Things and ice cream cones are found here and there that grant players +5 health each.

With Fortnite Season 10 prepping to begin on August 1st, it appears that a major bot battle may be the opening event. Cattus, aka the Polar Peak Monster, has been seen lurking about in deep water with a piece of Polar Peak on its back lately. What giant robocat would be worth its salt without an appropriately-sized foe? Dataminers have uncovered who they think that might be: Doggus, a new giant robot under construction in the Pressure Plant vault.

Epic has officially kicked off the 14 Days of Summer in all of versions of Fortnite. During the event, each day will bring new challenges, Limited Time Modes, rewards, outfits and new items in the shop. Creative players will also be find a new featured island each day of the event and Save the World players will complete a daily mission to "help Homebase host the hottest summer party around and score some summer freebies in the store".

The latest Fortnite update notes have been published, this time featuring the new "Chug Splash" item coming to Battle Royale that heals all players within its splash radius. This week's Limited Time Mode rotation features Sniper Shootout Duos, Trios and Solid Gold Squads. Battle Royale has also had a number of weapons tweaked along with tons of bug fixes and performance improvements.

The latest update notes have been posted to the Fortnite site, including the news that a new cooperative LTM is coming to Battle Royale. During "Horde Rush," players are challenged to survive increasingly large and dangerous mobs of monsters. Horde Rush is expected to launch in Fortnite on June 13th.

Just when you think you've seen the oddest crossovers ever, something comes along and surprises you again. This time, it's the new Fortnite Creative crossover event featuring Michael Jordan. The new content was made by Creative artists NotNellaf and Tollmolia. Creative players will be able to take home a number of themed cosmetics for participating in the Downtown Drop LTM. These include the Clutch Outfit and the Grind Outfit.

UPDATE: The rumors are true! The John Wick event is live in Fortnite! Original story: Twitter is, well...atwitter with the news that a John Wick crossover event may be coming to Fortnite in the near future. Hypex discovered a skin that looks an awful lot like Keanu Reeves as well as several other including one that resembles Halle Berry's costume in the upcoming film. The event may feature a special Wick-themed limited time mode.

Fortnite has been updated across all of its many versions. The most interesting updates have come in Save the World where players will be faced with an army of mini-bosses in a new Wargames Simulation if they do not manage to destroy the Mist Pods in time. In addition, StW players can check out the Dinosaur Constructor because "Jurassic times call for Jurassic measures".

On June 15-16, 2019, Fortnite fans will be gathering at The Forum in Inglewood, California for the first-ever Summer Block Party. Some of the game's biggest celebrities and content creators will be on hand including Ninja, Brendon Urie of Panic! At the Disco, Dillon Francis, KittyPlays, and Cray and Jordan Fischer. Tickets are currently on sale for $35 and provide access to both days' events.

Fortnite Battle Royale Season 9 is ready to kick off with the new Battle Pass. Players can get hold of the pass for 950 V-Bucks and it features one hundred levels and over one hundred brand new rewards. Players will find some pretty cool new content too including the Slipstream wind transportation system, Neo Tilted and Mega Mall locations, and the new Combat Shotgun. To showcase the new content, Epic has sent out a preview trailer.

Epic Games is proving that nothing is safe in Fortnite after last night's destruction of Tilted Towers. The volcano that has been active since Season 8. It's eruption not only took out the popular Tilted Towers location but also damaged Retail Row, Greasy Grove and Polar Peak. All this comes just days ahead of the start of Season 9 on May 9th.

Thanos and the Chitauri are back in Fortnite Battle Royale with the arrival of the v8.50 update and in celebration of this weekend's release of the blockbuster film. The limited time mode sends a team of "Hero" players off to stop Team Thanos from taking the Infinity Stones. Heroes will be searching for Mythic Avengers items during the fight with the ultimate goal of destroying the Chitauri and defeating Thanos himself.

Epic is expanding its tournament offerings with a new event called Fortnite World Cup - Creative. Community Creators will be working to put together devious and interesting maps. During five events, each focused on a new Creative game, fifteen players will be selected to compete for a share of a $3,000,000 Creative prize pool.
