eSports Interview at -

The team has scored a terrific new interview with Firefall's Morgan Romine. When Romine joined the Firefall team, eSports fanatics rejoiced due to her credentials as a Frag Doll. Check out the full interview at

FPSGURU: Have you been playing a lot of Firefall lately? How does the game lend itself to eSports?

I have been playing as much Firefall here in the office as possible! We try to pull together for competitive playtests as often as we can. But when we can’t pull together a scrimmage, I like to run around the open-world to refine my touch with the controls and explore the various tactics enabled by the diverse set of battleframe capabilities. The game itself handles beautifully and is unlike so many shooters because of the third dimension of movement introduced by the jumpjets. We haven’t really seen this kind of movement since Tribes, and it’s a delightful thing to return to. Firefall also offers a diverse set of battleframe abilities that can be combined and changed on-the-fly in any number of ways for team success. Unlike some competitive team games in which you see a lot of formulaic rock-paper-scissors match-ups at the highest level of play, Firefall rewards the players with the most skill, and the teams that can effectively and adaptably execute the widest variety of strategies.
