Do Today's Nvidia Tech Test Videos Mean PC Version Incoming? -

During today's Nvidia presentation at the Game Developers Conference, the Final Fantasy XV team presented a number of "tech videos" that featured an awfully familiar set of characters. The videos were made in partnership with Nvidia's Gameworks group and using the Luminous Studio Pro, the FFXV game engine.

In one scene from the video, characters are shown running through a field that can show the incredible power of the Nvidia TurfEffects -- 100,000,000 blades of grass dancing in the wind and with movement.

When Hajime Tabate was asked later if this was a tacit acknowledgement that Final Fantasy XV was in the works, he slyly said, "No tests."

What, if anything, this all means remains to be seen, though it would be odd to have such a prominent title as Final Fantasy XV shown for a PC-only video card if it wasn't in production. Hopefully we'll find out soon!
