Square Enix has made available a new benchmark tool for Final Fantasy XIV, the successor to Square Enix's venerable Final Fantasy XI.
The new tool should be useful in helping eager fans gauge how well their computers will be able to handle the MMO so they can make any necessary upgrades in anticipation of the game's launch this Fall.
The tool allows for fans to select from an assortment of characters that represent the five races available in the game, supports both 720p and 1080p resolutions, features 5.1 support with fully voiced dialogue, and comes in a number of languages including Japanese, English, German and French.
