The latest update has been deployed to Final Fantasy XIV that comes with a nice variety of new content, updated features and much more. Most significantly, players can look forward to some new side quests, more Adventures with Hildibrand and Heaven-on-High.
Heaven-on-High "is an ever-changing dungeon whose architecture is never quite the same each time players enter the tower". Players will start HOH at level 61 and gain strength and experience to continue through the floors. By the time the dungeon is finished, players will be level 70.
The dungeon is unique in that, up to Floor 30, the events transpiring through battle are part of the story of Heaven-on-High. From 31 forward, floors are available "strictly as a challenge for players" and cannot be completed with a matched party.
Other components of today's update include:
- PvP action adjustments
- The Feast training grounds updated
- new items added
- new mounts added
- achievements and titles
- updated NPC dialogues in the Doman Enclave
- bug fixes and feature enhancements
