The site for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.3 Reflections in Crystal is now live, with the update slated for release on August 11.

The update is set to contain new main scenario quests, in addition to a new dungeon called the Heroes’ Gauntlet described as,

“It is said that the hero's path is fraught with danger, and these words will never ring truer as the whole of Norvrandt becomes a battlefield across which the Warriors of Darkness must fight their way.”

Additionally, a Mystery Trial will be included, along with new challenges. Resistance Weapon Quests will be added as well, called “Save the Queen: Blades of Gunnhildr.” A new battlefield called the Bozjan Southern Front, in addition to new Tribe Quests, and Custom Delivers make the cut.

Perhaps most importantly, A Realm Reborn is receiving an overhaul to streamline the main scenario,

“A Realm Reborn offers players an adventure of epic proportions. At times perhaps...too epic. To make the journey to Heavensward swifter, the main scenario is now streamlined in terms of overall length, with adjustments to experience point gain and gear rewards for quest completion.”

Patch 5.3 along with Patch 5.35 will bring New Game+ as well. New items will be added in Patch 5.3 such as new mounts, new minions, and new emotes. If you’ve missed the trailer, check it out below. You can check out the full details on the site here.
