The wait is finally over. Final Fantasy XIV players can jump into Patch 5.1 today as the worlds of Final Fantasy and Nier hit head on. Called Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty, the new patch adds a plethora of content for Shadowbringers players to enjoy.

From the official press release:

Patch 5.1 marks the first major update for the MMO since the release of its critically-acclaimed third expansion, Shadowbringers, earlier this year, adding an abundance of new content including the first part of the NieR®-inspired YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse alliance raid. Players will team up with android ‘2P’ to explore the 24-player raid dungeon, featuring a new story and unique battle encounters designed alongside guest creators Yosuke Saito and YOKO TARO.

With the new patch, players can take part in new scenario quests to continue the excellent Shadowbringers storyline, a new raid titled "The Copied Factory", as well as an interesting addition for an MMORPG, New Game+. The new mode allows players to "[r]evisit previously completed quests, cutscenes, dialogue, and battles while keeping your current character and level. Patch 5.1 includes the main scenario quests for Heavensward™Stormblood™, and Shadowbringers."

You can check out the full patch details on the official website, and make sure you caught the Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty trailer below.
