Players are being offered incentives to create characters on Omega, the new World on the Chaos data center. These are being offered to help more evenly populate the worlds and to avoid congestion to keep things more enjoyable.
Here are some of the bonuses being offered:
- On Character Creation: 2x XP through level 60, 10 silver chocobo feathers.
- Characters created during bonus period: 1M gil, 15 days free play time
- Transferring to New Worlds: Transfers are free of charge, can transfer 999,999,999 gil, 10 gold chocobo feathers
- Transfer bonuses for housing/apartment owners: reimbursement of the full price of the estate and 3M gil for non-recoverable furnishings (personal housing). For apartment owners: Reimbursement of the full price and 500k gil for non-recoverable furnishings
