The official website for Final Fantasy XIV has received a major update. The site has been updated with a slew of new information on the jobs, races, storyline, and even some of the more specific features to be available in the game.
Several new high-quality scans of Final Fantasy XIV from the latest issue of Famitsu have emerged on the Final Fantasy XIV Core fansite. The new scans give us a glimpse at some of the beautiful vistas we expect to find within the lands of Haiderin, as well as some full images of the newly announced races.
FFXIV Core has updated its ever growing and rather extensive list of features revealed for the upcoming Square Enix MMO, garnered primarily through the translation of a Japanese gaming magazine. The most recent update to the site includes information on the armory system, areas, battles, the guild system, and other key features.
In this latest video interview from Japanese magazine Famitsu, we learn quite a bit about Square Enix's upcoming sophomore entry to the MMOG scene, Final Fantasy XIV.
Formerly known as Leipzig, GamesCom in Cologne, Germany will be host to several big events in the MMOG genre, the first public demo of Star Wars: The Old Republic, the reveal of the first Age of Conan expansion, to name a few. Adding to the what is already sure to be an interesting event, will be the presence of Square Enix's sophomore MMOG outing: Final Fantasy XIV.
According to a discovery by the newly launched Eorzeapedia, Square Enix may be hiring Game Masters this September, potentially in anticipation of a beta test beginning this Fall.
