It looks like FFXI is welcoming back players to Vana’Diel during its Summer Festival.
If you subscribed to PlayOnline/FINAL FANTASY XI service in the past, you are eligible to play for free during the campaign, dubbed the “Return Home to Vana’diel Campaign.”
The campaign period is from Friday, August 9 at 1am PDT to Monday, August 19 at 1am PDT.
See below for eligibility:
- Your PlayOnline account is transferred to Square Enix account.
- You must have an active PlayOnline/FINAL FANTASY XI service account.
- Character status under the inactive character options must be set to "Cancelled" status as of Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (PDT)
