Square Enix announced earlier today that those who bought the digital version of Final Fantasy VII REMAKE can now start the process of pre-loading on your PlayStation 4. In addition to the preload, fans can check out a new trailer from Japan today leading up to the April 10th launch of the long-awaited JRPG.
FFVII REMAKE's producer, Yoshinori Kitase, cited via press release, the current global situation as a reason for wanting to allow gamers to preload their upcoming title on PS4.
“We know that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many people having to stay at home, some of you may be experiencing extra pressure on your internet bandwidth. We wanted to give all our fans some extra time to download the game,” said the game’s producer, Yoshinori Kitase.
In related news, the Materia Collective have released a Final Fantasy VII remix album to get you in the mood for the upcoming game. Roborob's ONE BEAT ANGEL FFVII remixes popular songs from the historic JRPG with a pumping electronic dance mix. You can check out the album on iTunes, Google Play Music and more, and it will also be available on limited edition CD formats for those who still love physical media.
