It's that time of year where many of us take some time off to spend with loved ones, either to celebrate a holiday or just take advantage of the world slowing down to give everyone a breather. Myself, I'll be celebrating with my daughter, fiance, and the family today , opening presents and trying to forget that my car was totaled a few days ago. (Merry Christmas, amirite?)
Gaming is also an escape for many during the holiday season, with some of us diving into our favorite game worlds to unwind, celebrate with old friends, and just clear some of the backlog during the time off. Myself, I've dove headlong back into Valheim, its calming crafting and gathering loop helping to soothe the aches and pains of 2022. I'm also giving finally finishing Shadowbringers another try during the break. This is all while watching some vintage anime and making traditional dinners with the family over the weekend.
