Fallout 76 has had an interesting journey. From a game with no NPCs at launch to one that is now creating full fleshed out storylines with NPC factions for players to explore, the next step in that journey is coming on July 7th, with Steel Reign.
Bethesda released a new video detailing the next update headed to Fallout 76, aptly named the 'Inventory Update'. The new update will increase the stash box size from 800 to 1200lbs, a feature that players have been requesting since the game released back in November of 2018.
The original Fallout games have inspired fans to build their own MMOs on a system called FOnline. As is usually the norm in PC modding, these projects are comprised of several groups of volunteers, modders, and developers, according to PCGamesN.
Wild Appalachia will be coming to Fallout 76 in several parts, the first of which arrived today. Players will find the new Brewing & Distilling questline, a number of new adult beverages, the Fasnacht Parade, challenge tracking and much more. On a more practical note, the new reporting system is in the game to alert Bethesda to troublesome players.
It was seemingly a big weekend for the Fallout 76 team as we have a triple treat of news today. First comes the Fallout 76 live action multiplayer trailer that showcases a golden oldie song from the Beach Boys, "Wouldn't It be Nice"...and a giant sloth. One of the big new components of Fallout 76 is the inclusion of online multiplayer, something that the trailer shows off to good effect.

As part of today's big info dump of all things Fallout 76, Bethesda has released the main theme for the game by well-regarded composer Inon Zur. Zur's video game soundtrack contributions include Icewind Dale II, Lineage II, Syberia II, Crysis, Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Origins and many others.

Bethesda has finally announced the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. dates. XBox One players will have the first opportunity to check out the latest game in the long-running series starting on October 23rd. PC and PlayStation 4 players will get their chances beginning October 30th. B.E.T.A. is open to anyone who preorders the game ahead.
